ACCREDITATION

UNICERT operates in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and international accreditation forum guidelines and is committed to maintain continual improvement of its products/services.

UNICERT is an accredited by the International Accreditation Services (IAS)-USA, as a certification body (CB) for quality management system, environmental management system and anti bribery management systems. IAS is a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation that has been providing accreditation services since 1975. IAS accredits a wide range of companies and organizations including governmental entities, commercial businesses, and professional associations. IAS accreditation programs are based on recognized national and international standards that ensure domestic and/or global acceptance of its accreditations. IAS is an Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC), International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and International Accreditation Forum (IAF) MRA/MLA  (Mutual Recognition Arrangements) signatory.

UNICERT is one of the partners of the CMMI Institute, based in the USA for providing services for CMMI appraisals for CMMI Level-2, 3, 4 and 5 anywhere in the world. This model was developed in 1987 and named CMM for software, CMMI was originated by the SEI (Software Engineering Institute) and sponsored by the US Department of Defense. The model was developed at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a process level improvement training and appraisal program administered by the CMMI Institute, currently CMMI is a subsidiary of ISACA. In the USA It is required by the Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Government contracts, especially in software development. CMU claims CMMI can be used to guide process improvement across a project, division, or an entire organization. CMMI defines the maturity levels for processes: Initial, Managed, Defined, Quantitatively Managed, and Optimizing. The CMMI Institute is the organization behind the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), the globally adopted capability improvement framework that guides organizations in high-performance operations.

UNICERT is a registered certification body (RCB) for ISO/IEC 20000-1 (IT Service Management System) by APMG, United Kingdom. APMG (APM Group) International is a reputable global accreditation and examination institute. APMG accredits organizations to deliver training courses and consultancy services for a broad range of professional certification schemes. APMG’s certification schemes, exam and accreditation services support to achieve the goal of enabling organizations and professionals to maximize their effectiveness through use of the latest methodologies and core competencies. The APMG ISO/IEC 20000-1 scheme is very prominent in the world and considered to signify best performance in IT service management system.

UNICERT is accredited by the Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM) as a certification body (CB). The Department of Standards Malaysia (Standards Malaysia) is the National Standards Body and the National Accreditation Body. The Department of Standards Malaysia (Standards Malaysia) is an agency established on 28 August 1996 under the purview of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) for providing confidence to various stakeholders, through credible standardization and accreditation services for global competitiveness. DSM is an Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC), International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and International Accreditation Forum (IAF) MRA/MLA- (Mutual Recognition Arrangements) signatory.

UNICERT is accredited by the Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) as a certification body (CB). BAB is an autonomous government agency responsible for providing accreditations to laboratories, training centers, inspection bodies and certification bodies. BAB is the local government accreditation body under the Ministry of Industry, Government of Bangladesh (GOB). The Bangladesh Accreditation Board was established on 6 September, 2006 by the Government of Bangladesh through the act of Parliament “Bangladesh Accreditation Act 2006”. BAB is an Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (APAC) member.
